Mark is celebrating his one-year anniversary today, and Samantha, who started last December, is quickly approaching her first full year with us.
Mark Mills - A Seasoned Service Engineer with 25 Years of Experience
Today is a special day as we celebrate Mark Mills’ one-year anniversary with Penguin Leisure. With an impressive 25 years in the swimming pool industry, Mark’s expertise and dedication have made him an invaluable part of our team.
A Rich History in Pool Maintenance
Mark’s career spans a diverse range of projects, including commercial and domestic pools—both indoor and outdoor. He has worked on gym, hotel, and school pools and has extensive experience in building and refurbishing pools. Mark’s expertise also extends to constructing fish ponds and water features. In the UK, he has focused on maintaining and servicing saltwater and chlorine-free pools, ensuring they remain in perfect condition.
What Drives Mark
Mark’s passion for his work is clear in his love for the daily challenges of being a Service Engineer. Every pool presents unique opportunities, and Mark thrives on the variety and the chance to meet clients and ensure their satisfaction.
Life Outside the Pool
Outside of work, Mark enjoys travelling, fitness, and spending time outdoors with his family. He loves taking walks, playing board games, gaming with his kids, and listening to a wide range of music. Mark’s faith plays a central role in his life, providing balance and purpose.

Samantha Parramore - Bringing Versatility and Passion to Penguin Leisure
Samantha Parramore joined Penguin Leisure last December, and in just a few months, she has already become an integral part of our team. With a strong background in recruitment and administration, Samantha brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to her role.
A Career Built on People Skills
Samantha’s 19 years in recruitment have equipped her with exceptional problem-solving skills and a talent for providing excellent service under pressure. Her passion for working with people and tackling challenges head-on has made her a natural fit for the swimming pool industry.
A Personal Connection to the Industry
With several family members in construction and early experiences dosing and testing pools as a Leisure Attendant, Samantha has always had a connection to the industry. She regularly helps her father maintain his swimming pool, making the transition to Penguin Leisure feel like a homecoming.
Hobbies and Interests
When she’s not working, Samantha enjoys sea swimming, riding her motorbike, and spending time with her 2-year-old Labrador, Jax. Whether they’re exploring the outdoors or enjoying a swim, Samantha and Jax are always on the go.
